Bripod - 2007-12-07 10:42 AM Looks like we're at 26% at last glance! My stupid .38 yards really looks goofy in there. That's what happens when you convert metric to STANDARD, I guess
Well, you could leave your goal in meters. Or, as Cat would say, metres.

YUp some people are swimming metres, some yards so if its easier just do your goal and results in metres...

Well I've done 2 workouts measured in even yards [1,900 each] and 1 workout measured in even meters/metres [1,350]. Either way it's going to end in a decimal whichever standard of measurement I choose to use.

I'm ok with decimal points.

During last month's challenge, people were recording to the 0.01 place. As far as I'm concerned, if the BT logs can show it, it "counts."

<--- I am one with the pool. The pool is one with me. The pool and I are friends. (Especially during the month of December, when we have a Swim Challenge occurring.)

Insane you say? Well, yeah. But we knew that already.

That said, I did not swim today. The stupid shoulder is "tweaky." I did a good workout yesterday though.

Cat vs. Pat - current Swim standings:
PAT - 4h 05m - 15100 Yd
CAT - 3h 19m - 9350.39 Yd

Summary:
Pat has logged more time in the pool AND more yards than Cat.

Conclusion:
Cat needs to swim more! (Unless she wants to be Pat's slave for 31 days....)

P.S. - CAT, I'm am confused about your log vs the Google spreadsheet.
Your log says 9350.39 yards. The Google spreadsheet says 13150 metres. Um, which is it?
9350.39 yards = 8550 yards
13150 metres = 14381 yards

Aren't you the one who says, "If it's not in your log, it didn't happen!" LOL

OK. Just wanted to make sure the numbers matched. I'll check logs against the spreadsheet tomorrow night, and post the sheet for Donto after that.

LOL. That's funny.

But this month, she needs to swim in a VISIBLE pool. (As in one that contains water.)

Okay gang, I have renewed my pass at the county pool. I'll be heading over there tomorrow after the dr appointment (for the PF). I don't think I'm up to Cat & Pat's quanity, but if I get an hour in I should be able to do close to 2K.

Okey Dokey. Swimmy swim swim.

Hit the pool today and cranked out 1,900 yds.

That gives me 10,300 for the month.

On my way to update the Google Spreadsheet.

BTW, I'll check logs tomorrow, and match them against the Google spreadsheet. The "official" spreadsheet has to be submitted by tomorrow evening.

Swimmy swim swim!

As of 7:07AM Central Standard Time we were the 13th topic in the Challenge Me forum. This put us behind TWO Twisnibbins threads. It is simply not acceptable. I think a certain kiwi needs to maintain our high thread status through the U.S. evenings and we will support it during the days.

Good morning everyone!

Cat - we've been slacking off in our responsibilities, it seems!

Brian - we'll try to do better.
