Though I really wanted a girl... well at least I have Soleil, our 103lb Akita/Lab mix, and she likes to run, for the most part... |

That's just silly I think you should just refer to Marie as "The Mistress", Bill. It works on a few different levels |

Oh no! So sorry, sounds like a tough day. I feel certain that when you have to cut training short due to a million "this isn't going to go your way" signs like staples, heat and Cujo, it's important to make up for it. No, not by another workout silly... I hope you and Amy grabbed a cup of coffee or something afterwards |

Funny, Cujo had disappeared. Probably a good thing, 'cause now I'm thinking it might be rather impt to paper the neighborhood with race notices. I'd hate for the lead runner to get chased down and bit by a dog. |

Though I really wanted a girl... well at least I have Soleil, our 103lb Akita/Lab mix, and she likes to run, for the most part... I always wanted three kids, also. Hubby kind of took it out of my hands by informing me that he had made an appointment for a certain procedure when DD was only 6 months old. I think it was for the best. I feel one step away from insanity with the two of them, let alone throw another strong personality into the mix. I have the boy and the girl. My experience with this so far is that boys=noise, girls=drama. I am for the most part a SAHM but I still don't clean house (except when company is coming). |

MotoQueen 13195![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Subject: RE: Nibbs XXIIISpokes - 2008-08-14 11:38 AM I am debating whether tomorrow, which is my regular day off, if I should do a single speed century, or run 10 miles and then bike 40-50. I do have a 10 mile race coming up on 9/7 and a half marathon on 10/5. My heart says 'do the ride' but its going to be near 100 again tomorrow... I'd have to leave at first light to not cook. My brain says "do the run and a sensible ride" so that I have my weekend free for fun rather than figuring out when I'm going to sandwich in a 10 mile run. Considering the temperatures you are supposed to have, I would run and do a reasonable bike ride. Then you can relax over the weekend regarding your training. |
