Happy Monday, Freaks! Anything exciting going on this week? Have a good weekend?

I joined the locall 24hr gym this weekend and hope to hit up the spinning class on Wednesday. That's about it for me

Dunno, I sure don't. Guess if you worked weird night hours it would be handy to work out at 3AM.

Wow, a 24 hour gym! Do people actually train at 3am??? LOL

What's up freaks? Just a quick drive by, I am slammed today I'll be back in a bit to catch up on what I've missed.

I have mysterious numbness in my left arm, my bad arm. WTF is next? I swear. It was killing me when I ran yesterday so no surprise. Hope that goes away, I want to do a little core/strength work today.

I dont have that problem.. then again I have plenty of 'reserves' to work my way through!

I do get really terrible headaches and this light headed feeling seems vaguely familir so Im wondering if its a sign I dont have the balance quite right.. I do feel much btter than I did this morning though so who knows!

Ive increased my carbs which has made such a MASSIVE difference to my training its been well worth it... still running a calorie difference but having more energy... its awesome!

Carbs are GOOD! I did that CSIRO total wellbeing diet a few years ago and was training as well, all I wanted after 2 weeks was to eat giant spoonfuls of jam and honey. My body was trying to tell me something!!!

I just love carbs. That's the best part about being an athlete, you can eat all the carbs you want guilt-free!

OK looks like I can't quote things from the old thread. So I just wanted to say:

1. Great Marathon pics Kristin!

2. Mel those cookies you baked look GREAT! I'll bet theres none left

Thanks Magda!

Oh, and BTW everyone. I bought a roll of cookie dough over the weekend and shamefully ate about half of it. I can't look at any more images of delicious cookies and/or dough!

Argh! Are we in FOURTH PLACE???

NOT GOOD ENOUGH!!!!

Maybe we are just slow starters....

I wonder if everyone has been updating the spreadsheet. Without a team captain, we have to rely on everyone to do it on their own. I"m paranoid. I just don't know how we could be in 4th!

LazyMarathoner - 2008-11-11 10:57 AM So, haven't seen Philthy around today to reach his special milestone. I keep checking COJ, don't want to miss it!

I had a delay this morning.  My youngest tripped while playing basketball and fell head-first into a boulder that I have on the base of the basketball setup so the setup doesn't tip over.  I decided it was a good idea to have him checked over at the doctor's office.  He has a nasty goose-egg on his forehead above his left eye.

Anyways, hopefully in the next 10 to 15 minutes, I'll have my write-up completed.
