I kicked off the New Year with a short ocean race in a Speedo --- brrrrrrr but crazy fun! I feel like a new woman!

I marinated chicken breasts in italian dressing and grilled them, served with a salad, rosmary roasted potatoes, and a slice of cheese bread - mmmmmmmm

NOM NOM NOM!!!! I had two pieces of leftover pizza, pretty good!

Cheese with double mushrooms! My favorite!

When you reheat in the toaster oven, the mushrooms get all crispy

hey there Nibbleteers!

i am just popping in for a moment.  I really need a nap-I haven't gotten much sleep this week.  I was very productive today...a good start to the new year. 

Hi: I am new to Nibbs. I was referred here.

I had a very crappy start to the new year.  I didn't get to the gym at all - and that was after eating a whole lot of crapp last night. Then I overate on corn thins to the point where I actually got sick - stupid me.  I overslept.  I didn't wake up until 3 p.m. Just a terrible terrible day.  I hope this isn't reflective of the year!!

I hope all of you had a better day!

I did get a new bike for 1,000 at a bike liquidation LBS going out of business sale:

Productive=

cleaned and organized parents garage,

spent a little time with best friend(his bday),

moved the last of my furniture,

gave my sister a tour of school while she is in seattle,

put the furniture in my parents garage,

reorganized the garage again to make use of the new shelving,

did some yardwork-most of the herbaceous plants had turned to slime while they were under the snow.,

collected debris from the attic(from before my folks moved in) and put it in the trash,

gathered up all the garbage, recycling, and yardwaste in anticipation of the trucks finally coming(it has been more than 3 weeks),

did some laundry for my folks,

Went through all the stuff I am storing at my folks-got rid of some, put some in my car, and consolidated the rest.

...I am sure there were other things, but you probably get the general idea. 

It is great that you dropped in. 

I was really productive the week before christmas, then a lazy grump for a week, and the last two days I have been productive again.

keep in mind that I was a grumpy slacker for a couple months before this.  I was soooo irritable. 

I have discovered that if I am going to get something done I need lots of personal space.  People who get in my bubble will not be appriciated.  

Danett- just before you posted I had recalled your intro in the D and M check-in thread and wonder if you might stop by.

Just make sure that when you think back to today all that you recall is that you got a new bike, that it is awesome, and that it was a great price.
