Now that Spring is on the way we'll need to do some more sharing. It's always more fun cooking when it's nice outside. im all about sharing...and food just tastes SO MUCH BETTER when its warm and sunny, most definately. one of my all time favorite things to do: being in an outdoor seated area of my favorite resturant with someone whose company i throughly enjoy savoring a wonderful meal. PURE BLISS. stacie Edited by skrtrnr 2010-03-25 5:32 PM |

Good call. It's not too hard to make either if you want to try that! i can make Baked Ruffles? who knew. LOL. i wouldnt even attempt pico w the sad sorry specimens we have on hand right now ie tomatoes. but come the summer.....when i can get them fresh and organic right from the farm or perhaps if i get adventurous, right out of my back yard....i'll be the PICO MAKING QUEEN stacieb Good point. Good tomatoes are a must for good pico. Does your store have good mangoes and peaches at the moment? If so I could give you a sweet mango salsa recipe. It's a good dip as well as a great garnish for chicken and fish. OH MAN. I WISH. the BANE of my exsistence. the lack of good quality produce year round. the only fruit edible this time of year, that is not RIDICULOUSLY expensive are the apples and bananas. occassionally you can get a decent orange. the rest....... OI VEY. A WASTELAND. IM TELLING YA. this would be why im moving to SD ASAP....that and a few other good reasons. stacieb Then may the produce gods shine upon the Burgh again soon! The Queen needs her veggies! DAMN STRAIGHT SHE DOES. from your lips to the GODS ears. stacieb Edited by skrtrnr 2010-03-25 5:34 PM |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (STILL BIKING) Madness!!! To borrow a line from the Queen, I just had a FAN-FRIGGIN-TASTIC run. Actually two of them. First, I took my son out for a mile and we had a very nice time. I worked with him on not breathing so fast and shallow and also on his posture. It seemed to help a lot and we had a very nice time. He even said he would consider a 1-Mile Fun Run if they have one at any of the races I do this year. That would be awesome! After that I set out for my 3.5 mile pace run. I wasn't sure how I'd do after that late-lunch burrito but I killed it. I haven't had a run where I felt that strong in a long time, especially on the hills around my neighborhood. I even did the last 50m or so at a dead sprint which was really fun. |

Thanks everyone!!! I was so excited to pick her up I couldn't wait to get home. It is supposed to be ugly here the next couple of days so I think I'm going to put her on the trainer so I can get used to the new shifters. Early predictions show upper 60's to low 70's by next weekend. Hopefully I can get out on her then. |
