Ran in the rain last night. It wasn't bad once I warmed up. In fact I took my hat and jacket off on my way home. Nice night. I need to get me some gloves though. Cold hands can ruin a run (or ride for that matter).

Got in an easy 5k yesterday.  Tonight is a workout with my running club.  4 x 1200m with 100m rest on the trails.

I've learned to love running in the rain.  Living in Victoria I don't have much of a choice.

Workout #2 done... 5k at the gym at lunchtime.  I'm pretty exhausted.  No morning workout planned for tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to "sleeping in" (until 6:15am).

Saw that one coming after the first post. Anticipation didn't help make it any better.

Missed my lunch workout today. Spent it at the dentist office instead. No cavities! They still want me to get a crown to replace the tooth that had a root canal. I think I'll wait until after my wife gets her implant to replace a tooth she's been having problems with and gets a crown on her broken tooth. Then there's also my son's wisdom teeth that need to be removed.
Hope to get a ride in after work and maybe some strength training before we need to head to the high school tonight.

Took the bike to the hills for some punishment this morning.  I only do this ride a couple times a month because of the monster climb in the front end.  The climb is 1.91 and nearly 1,400 feet, which by my math is a 14 percent grade of technical, rocky ascent.

As a bonus, I think my sone gave me his cold!!!!

Sounds like it would be fun on the way back down.

Yeah thats a bonus to going out-and-back on this one.  Unfortunately, I sometimes hit this as a loop and don't get the descentCry

Paul you have any interest doing the XTERRA in Park City?  They will be running Nationals and a regular XTERRA.  I hoping to be there for Nationals.

Not planning on it at this point. I have a marathon the week before and I'm not superman like you. I don't think I can handle back to back races.  I've ridden the trails in Park City and love running in the mountains... I'll have to think about it. Put me down as a definite maybe.
