Actually, there's a surprising lot of triathletes, and people on BT, with martial-arts background. I think it's the adrenaline-junkie thing.

I put it down to the mental strength thing, you develop it in martial arts and then get to use it all the time in tris, particularly the long distance ones

And don't tell any of the Ghoulies, but not only are we catching up on the posting challenge, we were also leading them in the monthly challenge by 1% when I updated the spreadsheet.

Yeah. Someone called and wanted me to do some work. Then went out for about an hour on the bike, then the drive home. A few hours altogether, but you guys were busy. The whole day has been a post fest. More than half of our posts for the month are from today (today started back on page 8).

sorry boys n girls - but I'm out...

My week (and the whole month of October) just got very..... "interesting"

crazy times that are going to demand 100% of my attention.

I've deleted my row from the spreadsheet - good luck to team BT.

WORK?!?!? WTF?! You gotta stop that crap.

I actually got some stuff done today. Wrapped up two projects and started a third. I sometimes spend a lot of time sitting around so I don't mind when they give me work. Especially since Friday. It was the last day for a bunch of people. Now there are only 15 of us in an office that used to have about 250.

Nearly home time (aka training time) on Wednesday here now - well just over 2 hours away anyway - and so far no sign of rain today which will probably make this the first dry day on the GC for about 2 weeks....

It's been pouring cats and dogs continuously in Indonesia. The rainy season is officially at hand, not that it ever quite ended. (Literally sometimes--when it really rains all the neighborhood cats and dogs show up at my house)

We're only 30 posts behind. The Ghoulies usually get a head start on us in the morning. It would be pretty cool if we could pass them up and give them a little shock in the morning when they log on.
