Why was I thinking 2000. That must be on my cycling site. Anyway, I still lost my stars.

Well, it's not 2000, but at least you have something to shoot for

Speaking of cycling, I rode my bike on the trainer today! Great ride! I know it doesn't count for the challenge but I just wanted to let ya know! Have a great day!

I think trainer rides count, unless your goal was specifically for outdoor rides.

I only stated a running goal.  I'm just happy to get on my bike at this point.

Ah, I didn't think of that possibility.  Nice job getting on the bike!

I was just checking out the spreadsheet and realized I've neglected my 4th goal.  Luckily it's just 4 core sessions so I should be able to do 2 a week and still make it.

Got another run in this morning. Very painful. I am not sure what is going on, but I have horrible hip pain, that has been getting worse and worse. It is enough to almost shed a tear. Hoping it is tight muscles, I am waiting for a reply from my BT PT guy.

Ran 2 miles on the tready today.  I wanted to do more but my shins were killing me.  I don't like running on the tready anyway so no big loss.

Howdy, team!

Great job on your races, Pam and Neal! I am SOOOOOO glad I wasn't racing this weekend - summer finally came to NH, and it was hot and humid! Went for a fun little two-hour tube ride down the river, only forgot to put on sunscreen. I spent the entire evening and next morning freaking out because I thought I would have to cancel my backpack. Went out and bought some lidocaine - that stuff is CRAZY good!

My backpack was awesome. I felt on top of the world (and kinda was, near the top of NH anyway! ). Wish my BFF hadn't been having a completely royally sucky hike, because if she was in normal form and I was feeling as good as I was, we could have busted out just about anything! Oh well, it happens - she suffered through me having to bail off our trip in July, I helped her through this one.

Hey, anyone here coming up to Timberman this weekend? My backyard, I'll be there with a couple BTers, hoping to meet lots-o-peeps! Gotta go get my COWBELL!!!

The morning is not good. Having a serious problem with my hip. My BT PT guy said I needed to go to the doc, whatever is progressing fast.

Ouch!  Sorry to hear that.  The doc sounds like a good idea.

Did a bundle of searching while crying in my coffee this morning. I think it must be bursitis of the hip. All of the symptoms are the same. Asked the pharmacist what to take, and he said Aleve. I used to product on a headache once with no relief.....tried it anyway. AHHHHHHH, almost good as new! This could be good, maybe some rest, ice and a bottle of Aleve and I will be better in a week. I only have 2.5 miles of run and a few cycle sessions to complete the goals this month. If I do light spin, I will be able to do it. I am still signing up for the race in Sept, only the 10k, not the half.

I hope the combination of rest and Aleve helps!

I ran today.  To my surprise the legs felt pretty good.  I'll keep the runs short for the rest of the week to make sure I'm good and recovered before hitting the long stuff
