Master 1870 Fort Worth | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! Question for the experts here. UPS just delivered my wet suit and I'm pretty excited to take it out and try it during my swim tonight. However Jchristoff just told me that wet suits and chlorine don't mix. I wanted to try it out long enough to make sure it fits and get a feel for it but I don't want to screw it up. I've been in the pool plenty of times during diving instruction but I never received that feedback. I know tri wet suits are made different and I don't want to screw it up. So someone point me in the right direction please. |

I still swam 1200 meters this afternoon. No doubt, I'm going to have to bump up my numbers if i keep going the way I am. Talk to you all later. |

Actually I just sold it and bought a truck but it was fun while it lasted. Sweet ride. Yeah, that's my style. I used to have a little Fiat spider that I loved, but once kids come along, there goes that ride. And now I have to factor in the grandkids. Love them. |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! Just played a tennis match. I should have put that on my goals also. Play 3 tennis matches and win. We won. Two more matches and we will win our division. No pressure, no pressure. Oh, if you didn't know, Atlanta is a crazed town. Lots of league play, very very important. Bag tags are a big deal here. |

I was joking when I said that!!!!! OK, I'm about to start reading from page 8. If there's anything important that I should know --- such as you just left the room and started another team thread --- well, PM me or something before I get too far. LOL Hey look, I'm back up to 3 stars! Dee |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! tnickerson - 2007-11-02 8:08 AM Hey Brynn, used to be TOTALLY freaked out in the water. It took a LOT of personal psychobabble and time in the pool AND open water to get over it...I'm o.k. with it now, just not really fast. Now I enjoy swimming...I consider it a challenge to try to improve my swim speed. I'm trying to consistently swim below 2 min/100 yds. I can' t wait until I can swim even CLOSE to 2 min/100 yds and talk about how slow I am! You hit it exactly though.... You just gotta spend more time in the water. Speaking of which, I'm off to spend more time in the water! All of which means.... I have to spend more time "running." Wouldn't it be nice to wake up one morning, and find your running ability has magically improved? I can dream, right? LOL As I said.... All of which means.... I have to spend more time "running." |

Oh yeah! And I got up this morning and went to the 5:40am yoga class. And I'm so not a morning person! But it is nice to have my workout over and done for the day. Pam, Congratulations on the weight loss! 5:40 AM yoga class? Um.... Um.... Yeah. I'd be more likely to do a 2 AM class - because I'd still be awake. LOL |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! kns57 - 2007-11-02 2:44 PM Okay, got my workout in for today. 2.5 run and 3 bike. On track for the run and may have to bump up the bike for the month if I keep this up. I had planned for the 30 miles to be a day trip the day after Thanksgiving on the Silver Comet trail with hubby. I'm excited about the run cause I walked 2 minutes and then ran 12 minutes for a whole mile of running. Then walked a minute, run 3 and did reps of that till I got the 2.5 miles in. My goal is to be able to run a 5K on New Years Eve. I think I can, I think I can, I think I can...(Little Engine that Could). Kendra, That's awesome! Isn't this a big improvement over where you were a month ago? (That's thanks to Cat's Run Challenge, I bet!) Dee Edited by D001 2007-11-02 8:36 PM |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not be Named! sparco - 2007-11-02 3:43 PM Heh...we had a small chemical spill in one of the labs...as per procedure we have to wait until the FD checks it out (they said about an hour), so rather than stand outside the building and wait (good thing it's not snowing yet), I drove over to the library and logged in...uh, I guess I should drive back to work now... We should write a book. Each chapter should be a story that starts out: "You know you're addicted to BT when......" I vote this as Chapter 1. LOL |
