I guess I underestimated my running abilities. I would like to up it if that will help. I am planning on doing a run today...probably only 2 or three miles since I am swimming, too. Let me know what you think...this is my first challenge and I am not quite sure what I am supposed to be doing...besides running. he he and trying to inspire other blisters. Thanks! that's great! just let me know what your new goal is nothing real formal at all Julie, How much are you going to up your miles? I think I might up mine another 10....
You guys are great....such dedication, I am proud to have you on my team! |

Julie...get that beauteous bike on the road! No more garage for you!
sounds like the plan Karen...but not until tomorrow...I am actually loading my swim gear into my bag to go and are planning to go for a noon time swim....and then tonight I planned a short 2-3 mile run. Tomorrow is my day to bike to work again...and then this weekend so I can ride then...plus this weekend we are meeting our daughter in Bakersfield (five hours from here) for a mountain bike race and are planning on doing road ride the following day. We all just bought new bikes (my daughter got her brand new Trek last night) so we will be looking good and probably blinding anyone that comes near us with our new and shiny bikes and components!! WAY TO UP YOUR MILEAGE KAREN...you inspired me to do the same...! Holey moley your busy! |

If there was other open lanes and I was already in my own, I would quickly kick them out of mine. I had to laugh at the splashing thing, imagine getting wet/splashed in a pool. I hope you feel better and I'll try and not sneeze on the screen anymore. |

Shouldn't mileage on the dreadmill count double? I'm going to start bringing my gear to work and running at lunch so i don't have to do it on the treadmill in the evening. |

I could have gotten out and gone to the other lane, but it wouldn't have made the point(I don't think she got the point anyways). I have to admit it was more fun letting lots of water fly off my recovering arm as I swam by her. I think she just wanted to draft off of me as she did that breastroke thingy.! |

The cornerstones of the January Challenge! Ok, so posting really isn’t one of the triathlon sports, and really has nothing to do with the January challenge, although early in week 2 you wouldn’t have known that based on the posting activity of the Talking Tilapia Flying Fish and the Twisted Blisters! Members of both teams took the posting challenge to heart and members of each team valiantly tried to out post each other. They even started to resort to replying to each other’s posts within their own thread (ummmm, certainly nothing yours truly would have done) – LOL!! Captains Kendra and Beth called a truce and started new threads and the focus is back on the challenge (although, the blisters are ahead in the post count hehehe!)
