I'll be driving through your town Friday night on my way to Perdido. 

Under the river and over the bridge, to the panhandle I go...

Thought about doing that.  I'm taking the running shoes, but I think I'm just gonna trot up and down 182 around 7am, then hop on a boat and put in a marathon fishing day.

I was at the Independence Bowl when MSU and Tex. A&M played the "snow bowl."  Well, I was at the first quarter of that game.  What was that, end of the year 2000?  It was the last time I saw snow, and the last time I want to see it.  I don't see how people get around in that stuff.  I'm with you on the cold weenie stuff.  I wear long sleeves in spin sometimes because the fans are on to high.

The weather is all just relative to what you are used to/get used to.  I've been in Utah for ten years now and I think I'm finally getting used to the cold.  On sunny days I love to run when it's still only 30 degrees or so out (it feels GREAT!!!).  However, I will always be the crazy coona** that wears a sweatshirt for fireworks on the 4th of July.  I just can't get used to the summer chill.

My nose has also still never adjusted to this DRY climate.  Can you believe they call 70% humidity high????

I'm at 87% of goal as of today.  No problemo making it to goal by the 31st (and yes, you have until the end of the month to complete your goal).

I was hoping it wouldn't come to this but it appears we are in FOURTH place... *GASP*... so, ummmm...

apparently I can't add - I thought I was at 4 hrs after my monday class, but.........I was really only at 3 (yes, I know I'm working in single digits here - sad isn't it)

so - I need to go to one more class between now and monday to get in that last hour

Well giddyup... gotta love a great month with lots of time in the saddle outside!!!  It was 76 degrees here today and perfect riding weather... I wish it could be like this through the summer.  I'd like to order that, please.  Thanks in advance.

WEATHER REPORT!!!

I woke up to SNOW this morning.  It was cloudy and snowy through lunch.  Now it's beuatiful and about 40 something.  Though I think I might skip riding today (ouch... as the pink whip hits) but my legs are actually a little stiff and I'm feeling tired.  I promise to ride (or maybe ski , it did snow you know) tomorrow.

D - U - N    DONE!

Weather Report:

80 degrees, partly cloudy, WINDY!!!!  Oh well, getting used to the breeze now.  I'll be sad to see it go when the temps get near triple digits.

Yep, I'll be right there with you on that! 

I am just hopeful that we will have water in our lakes for races.  On the other hand, the idea of walking the swims is rather appealing...
