Parking wars is so much more fun now that more people are on it. LOL

Yeah, 'cause there are more "LEGAL" places to park. I always went to Si's street (whoever Si is...) because I could park illegally and not get ticketed!

Why? I've found long lost friends on there. It's much safer than myspace too.

Welcome Beth! Looking fwd to having you on board! Running is my weakest leg as well, but I've been working really hard on it over the past few months and have improved a lot. Keep it up and soon you'll be loving it!!!

tlnewman30 - 2008-07-08 8:14 AM Well today is my first day back to work.  There is just about nothing to do, or at least there isn't until the guy I am replacing leaves since now there are 2 people doing the work of 1.  I plan on running with one of the two running clubs tonight.  I might also squeeze in a bike ride.  After all that the  beer will be flowing.

He he - I'm all for the beer. Well thats why we run isn't it? To make up for all the crap we eat & drink *lol*

dcrunningdiva - 2008-07-08 9:59 AM Dudes & Chicks...I am already fully addicted to the following: BT.com FB - the main thing FB: Scrabulous, Scramble, Word Twist, parking wars and that stupid brim rolling thing that I STILL don't fully understand. BTW, I hate Sudoku. I CAN NOT have more addictions in my life! Tee hee! Oh...and this is really only the beginning of where my addictions start...there are others such as: running Biking Swimming Coffee ....blah, blah, blah...

Yes! I thought I was the only obsessive-compulsive person addicted to BT, FB & exercise - thank god I'm not the only one!!!  *lol*

I try to avoid FB like the plague because whenever I get on it, the hours go by so quickly and I never get anything done. Has anyone played Pirates on FB? I was addicted to that for quite some time ...

Well, I did a big run on Sunday and then rested on Monday, and I seem to have taken today off as well! I couldn't get out of bed. I had a gym membership and was doing most of my morning running on the treadmill, but the membership expired on Saturday and because we're leaving soon I haven't renewed it for now.

I can only exercise in the mornings because I don't get home from work until 7.30pm - but we're in the middle of winter here so it doesn't get light until 7am, often its raining and its always cold (this morning was a balmy 4C/39F!). I think I'm going to buy some casual gym passes or else I don't see me doing any more running until we leave on Saturday!!!

I ran along the lakeshore on the trail as I find that much more fun. Almost 4 miles. Slow however. I was going ok the 1st time but on the way back I lagged so much. I know I must have been dehydrated. Eejit that I am.   I am behind in miles. Very behind. Perhaps 12 miles a week is even too much for me.

OK, I'm back in action

I got nice swim done this morning and a good solid 10k run done this afternoon.......WOOHOO

It felt great after being trapped by the sickness for the last 4-5 days.

Man I really miss getting out there now. But I definitely feel stronger because of the rest. Maybe it will really help me this month. Might have been my body trying to tell me something.

Kids started their swim lessons today so I spent about 2.5hrs total in the pool today so I ended up looking like a raisen at the end of the morning...LOL....but they both had fun, esp. Mackenzie who loved doing the Hokey Pokey with the other kids in there......Too funny.

Glad to see everyone is still chatty, chatty chatty........Is everyone still, runny, eunny runnny though?????

Well the run went well though only 3.1 miles.  It was with the running club, and somehow I was the first one done, that hardly happens.  Of course I forgot both my watch and garmin so I have now idea how fast I ran, but I am predicting 25 min, I think.  Everybody there thinks I ran faster, but nobody had a watch on so it is all a guess.

Great job for finishing first Travis!!!
I ran for about 45 mins yesterday, and will run again this morning (I'm leaving in 5 minutes).
I hope that helps with my totals for the month!
P.S. I've been getting so many parking tickets lately! Have I gotten any more recently?

Nice job. I haven't weighed myself in a long time but my size 14's are rather loose! Oh and the last two skirts and tops I bought were all M's and not L's.

great job you guys!!! it's so awesome that you're shedding those pounds!!
i actually put on a couple, (grrrr) BUT on the plus side, yesterday i tried on a pair of size 4's and they FIT!! i thought i was pretty much a 6. i have a couple pairs of 8's that i wear, a couple pairs of 6's that i wear, but getting in those 4's yesterday TOTALLY made my week!
then i got on the scale this morning, THAT was stupid!! should have left well enough alone! LOL
