I'd planned on getting a swim in today. I may have to cancel that, as it looks like I'll be working late. And working tomorrow. And working Sunday.....

Wow, I just got an email from one of my companies, real work has arrived!

I am a sales rep and work from home. It's been pretty quiet all week so it's a bit of a surprise to see something. Oh, well, guess Monday, I will have to really get something done. It's been really nice being "off" for the last couple of weeks. Now I must get my travel schedule laid out and make arrangements for some of my company folks to go with me. There are a number of meetings coming up soon as well that I need to get registered for. Busy, busy, busy.

I met a former triathlete at the pool tonight. He asked me how many laps I managed to swim. I think he "was" slightly ticked at me hogging the lap lane but when he found out I did triathlons he started telling me how he's desperate to get back into them this summer and that swimming is his weak part. He did the same 5K polar bear dip I did on Tuesday!! It was great chatting to someone HUMAN for a change instead of a grumpy arsed,can't be bothered teenager, or a bird for that matter! I even managed to give him some tips! Bloody hell. Does this mean I actually KNOW THINGS now!?
