Loving the juice talk and somewhat inspired to try it, but it will have to wait until I have a real place. Did the indoor tri I was training for and did better than my first one. I was pretty happy with it so for 15 min swim, 20 min bike, 15 min run I did .33miles/6.54miles/1.17 miles AND I didn't need to use my inhaler once. I'm going to do the final once of this particular series a week from today, but I haven't been to the gym in a week with the move craziness, but it helps keep me active. I also signed up for my first 5k! It'll be in two weeks.. the Race to Wrigley. I wanted to do at least one race in Chicago before I leave, and this will be a neat one since it's the neighborhood I had my first apartment in and I used to walk a very similar route to get to/from the train. I'm still toying with the idea of dong the Annapolis tri right after I move, and I have no problem with the swim, bike or run distance.. but I'm a little concerned that I won't have had ANY open water experience. Thoughts? How necessary is it? I don't think I'll do great, but it's a really short swim (500m) and so it seems like it would be a good starter. |
