I'm happy to announce that I've been released from physical therapy!

Running has been going good. I've been getting my milage up. My marathon is in just two weeks. I'm very excited to do this.

Went on a bike ride with some new friends yesterday. It was fun just going out for a ride. No thoughts or talk of training just riding and living it.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Beth

Hi everyone! I'm still working on getting back into a consistent groove after the IM. I had a sprint race this weekend (race report has been posted) that went well; I finished 3/21 in my AG! The swim was probably the roughest I've ever done. Not in terms of distance, it was only a 1/4M, but it was an ocean swim with breaking waves. Crazy! Ended up having a sore throat that night, which turned into a cold, so that derailed my plans to get back into a consistent schedule earlier this week, but I did get in a run this morning, so hopefully I can keep things going from this point on. The only other race I have at this point is a 10K on October 8th.

Beth - That's great you made it through PT. Hopefully all will go well for your upcoming marathon!

What a great day! Toby, my five year old, ran his first race and ended up being an age grouper! Second place!! The starting horn went off and he was half way down the course before I knew what happened. He was moving!!! He was so proud of his metal and of course I'm proud of him too.

Tomorrow I have my marathon. It will be the last race of the season. I can't believe another race year has gone by already.

I will get a race report posted soon.
