I'm guessing sometime in the next week or two. I keep checking back to see, it looks like you can't register for any January races yet. I hope it isn't 10 degrees! I did a couple winter races that were just ridiculous. My 10k this Sunday will be about 30 with a chance of snow. Yippee!

Very nice! I like the black and white. The white is like a pearl white which has a shimemr to it... really awesome in the natural light... switched from grey to red Keo cleats too which should be interesting to try out... Besides i know I like a black and white colour scheme so thats probably the way I will want to go when I eventually get around to a new bike so Im just getting prepared in advance... (he he he ) My bike shoes are that pearly white, I love it. Although mine are mostly white, which kinda freaked me out, but there were no options. They are the Sidi T2s and were just so comfy I had to have them. I have a black/silver/white bike and love the color scheme. Black and white just works with everything! one of these days I'll need to invest in new bike shoes - when I bought mine I didn't really know what to look for of course that seems to be the case with almost everything - only exception being running shoes - how weird is that? |

Then it turned into a migraine at dinner so I had to take the migraine pills that are loaded with caffeine. So now I'm killing time so I can take a sleeping pill. Ugh. I'm working from home tomorrow. My calf is a little tight and my bed was so warm! I'm also babysitting this am. Yuck! Hopefully it won't be for too much longer. I want try to get a swim in! Hopefully it will all work out! Eeek, hope the calf loosens up. And hope you didn't throw the kid out the window. It would set a bad example to Liam. |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge LazyMarathoner - 2008-12-03 11:55 AM My pool has south-facing windows and now that the sun is lower in the sky, it was shining into the water right in the middle so I got to keep swimming through this beautiful beam of light. I loved that. When I turned to breathe there I couldn't even see because it was so bright. Moments like that are really nice. Wow, that sounds awesome. And reminds me of my pool at school. It had a very high window and the light would stream in just like that. Also, I could watch the swim team do their early morning workouts from my third-floor dorm room across the way. Hee hee, swimmers are HOT! |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge LazyMarathoner - 2008-12-03 2:02 PM It's not close. I could bike there, it's about 4 miles, nice ride over the Brooklyn Bridge, quick shot across lower Manhattan then up the Hudson River path. I could take the train, it's about 5 stops. Kristen, I really hope you don't take the the wrong way, but... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! FOUR miles is far away??? Wow, you *are* a city girl, huh? I've not joined the pool that is 35 miles away due to gas and time constrictions (and cost to join), but that is by far the closest pool. Four miles... Okay, sorry, had to get that out of my system. I actually do truly understand that city travel is totally different than rural travel. It's all a matter of perspective, and how your day/travel flows. I just bust out laughing to read "not close" and "four miles". Then again, I wouldn't live in NYC permanently for all the money in the world, so to each their own. |

Master 2665 The Whites, New Hampshire | Subject: RE: Team Vixen - Dec. Limiter Challenge What did I get up to in WCPT? Something like 21 in a row? Yeah, I talk to myself a lot... Anywho, what challenge is this? Ah, yes, I logged my food AGAIN, yay! It is already making a huge difference - I went out for a run today on my day off so I could have a piece of cake. And yet, I still haven't eaten the cake. I am so, so happy I decided to make this my limiter - it truly was limiting me, and I've known for months that I needed to get back to it, and this was just the push I needed. I even got ALL smilies today/yesterday! I didn't get all eleven, but I got nine of them, which is REALLY good for my third day back to logging. The cool thing is, if I keep at this and stay really diligent, I will be at or near my goal weight by Pittsfield (I think I talked about Pittsfield in the Hot Toddies - it's a killer snowshoe race in March that I am stupidly considering). That and doing the hill runs that I've committed myself to means I might actually survive the ordeal. |
