I'm going to do some yoga and take one of my dogs for about a mile and a half walk. Then I have to help my daughter make a guitar out of cardboard.

SFD156 - 2011-02-07 9:58 AM Morning all......havent had time to check in here...been a busy weekend. I did manage to get a couple hrs xc skiing in on Saturday, then did a swim/bike workout at the gym before work yesterday with a 2 mile treadmill run last nite to work off dinner.....will try to hit the track at the gym for a couple of miles or so after work today.

Don't have one yet :-( I am a mountain biker.......looking for a road bike now but they seem to be made of gold if you know what I mean $$$$$$$$$$ I dont want to invest a fortune just yet so I will keep trolling Ebay and CL for a $300-$400 starter road bike. If I dont find one I will just do my first tri on the mountain bike.

Absolutely......some smooth tires and I'll be good to go......it's geared a little low but I'll just spin a little faster.....I'm not much of a masher anyway.......biking is my strong suit.....I can do 13 miles on a mountain bike OK.....if the swim doesnt kill me.

Sorry to hear your still recovering Anne........stick with it. It will get better.

I managed my swim and bike workout this morning. I think I may be making a little progress on the swimming. Still nothing to write home about but a feel like its less of a struggle.

cornchexs - 2011-02-08 11:28 AM Morning all!  My MRI was cancelled today as the machine failed last night.  I have reschedule it for next Monday, so another week w/ limited running.  I've been relatively lazy this past week, so I'm ready to get back to training.  Going to swim today and get my bike back on the trainer to build some of that fitness back.

If I can't run, I can at least swim & bike.
