Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Nibbs XII Funny. I was thinking of your proliferation of green stars and that you needed to GO PINK! Neck and shoulder are surprisingly good. Not 100%, but are at a very tolerable level and continue to improve. At this point it's just time. No doubt your big move is giving you the flurries. So glad you got some love on the PA forum! Cake boy more or less camped out in my front lawn and howled mournfully. I ignored him for several days. I guess we've reached an agreement that keeps him off the lawn. He's not allowed in the house. I'm willing to see him in public only, platonically, and for runs--he's willing to run a marathon. He's willing to have a friendship, and so am I. He's in a difficult situation and I understand that. But one toe over the line, and it gets chopped off. |

Sounds like you have Cake boy under control - it's easy to understand that he is having trouble resisting the charm of Yanti So glad you back and shoulder are feeling better!!! |

I'm sorry, but I will sell my soul for cheesecake ... , or at least, my friendship ... I just could not bear to leave them on the doorstep anymore. Here's the latest--and it is, in fact, a cheesecake:

Melon Presser 52116 | Subject: RE: Nibbs XII lastcall2003 - 2008-01-13 7:39 PM so was he serenading you? OH MY LANDS!!!! THat is hysterical. Funn-ay ... "Get off the lawn ... you're killing the grass!" Okay, there was some singing involved ... but basically, he just camped out (in his truck, if we had the sprinklers on) until I would talk to him. Oh, and left cake. And cake. And Danishes. |

Ummm not to bad... would be best if I finished writing it! I know all the stuff... now I just need it slick and in coherant sentances... knowing my stuff and talking about it vs presenting it is always something I need to work out! you will do great! and I'm sure you will feel even more confident after you practice Yes I will be a good little girl and go home and practice in fron of the mirror until D gets home... Im going to try and keep it short and sweet as possible too! (its a max 5-7 min presentation and I know I will be under that... well I hope!) But I figure... as long as are at the standard of everyone else in the beginning we will be fine... I have a MAJOR issue with nerves and presentations... but its not consistent but I KNOW tomorrow I will be full of nerves... Im catching a bus in to the city so I might try to go early and get a coffee on the way... having that in my hand as somethign to do keeps me calmer! Going in early is probably a good thing - are you sure you want caffeine though? that would just make me more jittery - LOL haha its the having it in my hand thing more than anything I think! |

He has turned out to be a continuously astonishing person, eerily so. And in the meanwhile, I'm not going to refuse cake. On the other hand, the price for entry into my home or body (sorry, TMI!) is currently more than he's able to pay. |
