iowagander - 2009-10-27 10:11 PM Now my wife just brought up sweet potato fries. I'm getting hungry again!

I just finished breakfast, and I'm getting hungry again!

I am always hungry and when you guys bring food up I get hungrier.  Time for a bagel and donut possibly??

A bagel sounds really good right now. I may have to grab one when I hea dout this morning. I have to go on the road to do some interviews this morning, and a pit stop is sounding better by the moment.

We did great yesterday considering Jules was not around at all and we hit 14.  She is good for 6 pages between her comments and us commenting back to her so we will blame her

And the 14 was just on the new thread. Weren't there 5 or 6 pages on #3 we took care of as well?

kcarroll - 2009-10-28 8:45 AM Left knee still grumpy, so I didn't run while in VT.  I did get on the trainer last night and did fine.  Will try an easy run tomorrow.  Hopefully will still hit my goal!

Hope the knee is a little less grumpified by then

Recap:

We are in 1st place and that is all that matters!

We have a lot of people closing in on 100%

Ann, Bill, Tom, and Neal all volunteered to take of a creep for Stacie

Stacie is losing her tapering mind and forgetting her undergarments at the Y and swimming in the **** (kidding - but she did forget a lot of stuff at the Y and fortunately it was still there upon her return!)

Ann was "forced" into a long run by some mean pups in the hood (or country I would better imagine!)

Tom has big feet and Stacie asked if he knew what that meant and he said that he had big shoes to fit them

Curiously Ann did not comment on this - is she trying to be good for the last couple of days now?

Robin has a farting chair, new shoes on the way because they were out of stock (Which brand Robin????and which model????), her computer likes wine and spaghetti so it is speaking Italian on the mouse - BonJour (or is that French?)

Debbie was mia doing Laundry all day - that does not sound like fun.  I think we need to have a Ghoulies moving party for her because I heart that part of NY and you guys would too after you saw it - especially with some snow but I think the rain is ruining that!

Amy stopped by - discussed dinner and kids and homework and then was gone.

Kendra met someone cool (double leg amputee who finished IM!) sang a cool song and then promised to be 100% by month end

I am out of gas sorry if I missed anything!

Good summary Bill. You only forgot to mention your ongoing ITB ordeal. I feel for you there, because mine kept me off the road for 6 weeks this summer. Like Stacie said, do your best to be patient with it and do what you can with the aquajogging so you can heal soon!

disturbed275 - 2009-10-27 8:48 PM I probably shouldn't admit this, but the highlight of my run came one of the big hills on my route.  A girl was heading up the hill on her bike.  I pased her while running up

You should brag.. did you slow down after..............

I did slow down a little.  Only because it was a big hill and I was gassed

a PHONE NUMBER  or it didnt happen

I'm not posting my phone number!!  Neal, you promised you wouldn't tellWink

Don't worry.  All phone numbers I receive are strictly confidential

Thanks Kim (birthday and logic about bike ride).  The bad thing about me is that I get mad when stuff like that happens and that is not a good thing.  Sort of like a temper tantrum from a 43 y/o - pretty scary and my family will confirm this

I know and I am working on it   Admitting you have a problem is half the battle right?

Is there a 12 step program for stubbornness?

maybe that she is soooo happy to have such great parents and just to say thanks????

That's my story and I am sticking with it! At the very least it will be an OPF day (other people's food).

I love OPFdays!  As long as their FOPF (free other people's food)

If I keep this up 6K will be knocked out in 1 month.  Pretty bad if you post 1K threads a month or more huh?

I might catch the big boys some day at that rate but I don't ever see another challenge team like this for a while!

Could you imagine if Jules was on all day like I am

Um, I may or may not have done that a few times.

Kendra and I were on a team last spring and had a posting contest.  That was ridiculous.

disturbed275 - 2009-10-28 11:17 AM ooh, the thread's a moving along this morning!

It feels like the Patriots must have felt when they were 14-0 and cruising to the end of the season.

We are in first place.  We shall stay in first place.  And we are chatting fools!

There is no Halloween team close to being as cool as us!  GHOULIES RULE!

I am going to go paste this in their team threads just to tease them into thinking they can ramp it up and still defeat us

It's a good thing there's no playoffs in the challenge forum
