Subject: RE: Rebellious Reindeer

I swam this morning, my new swim MP3 player worked and I sort of set 2 PBs (I was wearing flippers but not going hard so I think it is pretty cool plus I've never swam that fast). Felt things pretty well. MP3 player works great when your head is under water.

Total for month:

December's totals:
Bike:2h 50m 06s - 48.21 Mi
Run:2h 28m 10s - 14.5 Mi
Swim:5h 38m 54s - 9700 Yd

I've never ever ever spent more time in the pool than cycling and/or running. Goal is 11 hours.

Errghh...was supposed to get 2000 yds in this morning.  Instead spent the whole time finalizing trial documents (no not legal trial).  Meetings all day.  Visiting a friend in the hospital after work.

PLEASE get on my case and remind my to get my swim on tonight...

Pam, sounds like you need to bring out the noodles!!!!

What? If Sal doesn't meet his swim goal, he's going to post a pic of himself wearing a bathing cap with plastic flowers?

Has anyone told Kendra yet?

(P.S. No, I don't normally spy on your team. But you were at the top of the forum list, so I decided to see what y'all were so busy talking about!)

Thanks! Chiro visit was good. Modified my swim workout with a lot of stroke variation and only breathed right since I'm still stiff when I breathe left. All the IM work felt great (except the breastroke part, bleh). So I got 2800 yards done today bringing my total for the month to 17,000 yards. Yay! Passed the halfway point!

O.K., bring on the flowery cap, but please, no nasty old Speedo.  Not swimming tonight.  I am totally drained, and really should spend some time with my youngest son tonight.  I will try to work in a swrun tomorrow (swim run brick)...

I really need some sleep...

Have fun on your trip even if you don't swim!

My shoulder and neck feel lots better this morning. I'm gonna try for 3000 more yards today after lunch. We shall see. Happy Friday, Reindeer!!

Tough decision there...-10 or swim? I think you should have attempted an ows in -10 with some running to and from the water.

My Grandpa did that when he went to some military school in MN...he was dared to swim I think it was January.

Yah you 2000 more done for December!

Happy dance!! I did 3000 yards today. I stuck to right-side breathing when my shoulder felt weird which was on my longer sets and I substituted quite a few kick sets instead of swim sets. But it is done! 11,000 yards for the week, 20,000 yards for the challenge. And best of all, no more swimming until Tuesday! Yay!!!
