Capt.,

Beware some of our fellow teammates might just throw the competition in hopes of seeing in that get up. Heck, if it comes in red I might just join you. I say all of us join Ditchdoc in this wardrobe.

Met my bike goal today.  MAN my bike sucksSo bad.

I bought a new little cheapie just to ride on pavement around my lake.  Of course, the very next month I got interested in tris and I need a serious, serious upgrade.  No, upgrade's not even the word because that would mean this bike had any value to begin with.  :-)

My best wishes to everyone today!

My eyes, my eyes!

That is true motivation. Good job Lora and Alan.
Don't let those old people get you down, Alan. Just think...You will be 80 smoking some younger guy in the pool and they will be dead.

GO Team TriOk. I can't bear to even imagine any of you guys pictures in a white Borat thong. Makes me feel a bit queasy.

During a temporary moment of insanity decided to skip my lunch run today at work.....

Then I envisioned wearing the Borat sling and the chafing that would cause....

I WILL BE RUNNING TONIGHT !!!!

I was so tempted to head home after work. It is cold (40s)and gray today (not really cold but different than the 70 it's been) I wouldn't have gone to the pool without knowing that you guys are keeping up with me. And....that hideous suit of Reuben's!

Drills are still awkward but they are making a difference as did the 8 weeks of lessons. In my regular freestyle laps, I'm averaging 2.30 per 100m. Unbelievable!!!!

Being in this group is great. I'm so excited about my events this year and can't wait until March 29th!

Congratulations Robyn on your sponsorship. This is the Best Group!

40s??? Don't I feel so terrible for you!!! It's supposed to be -19 here tomorrow night! When it gets to 40 here we call it SPRING!!!!

2.30 100m ... that's pretty awesome...think it takes me that to go 25

Good job getting it done even though you didn't want to.

I still have a 30 min run to get in tonight...I hate to go back and look at that Borat picture for motivation so I hope i get it done without it.

Lora...too bad we didn't live in the same area, we could go ride our s____ bikes together. Please tell me yours at least has better brakes than mine?

I am aching to get to the pool and just truly have not managed to get there with a busy corporate week and two (darling) demanding little girls. I had to do the same presentation all over again today... all went well but two days in a row wearing heels... is two days too many.

Robyn... I missed the announcement about zoot... congrats... now fill us in as to what that actually means.

So ready for Friday.

Elizabeth

Now I'm screwed...blew the circuit breaker 4 times as soon as i up the speed on my treadmill...tried everything including shutting off all the lights and everything else plugged in. That kind of sounds like "the dog ate my homework" doesn't it Les?

Damn, it's going to be cold outside doing this but since everyone seems to checking in with workouts all done I better go.

I'm UP! I really have been waking up at 5AM. Not getting out of bed today yet. I'm going to run on the treadmill this afternoon. I'm so glad it is Friday!

Yea yea Alan. Circuit breaker, shmirtcuit breaker. Can't you go outside and run in -19 + wind chill in the dark? We all thought you were committed!

We have official registration open for the Women's Siren's mini-sprint in San Antonio on May 10th-
https://www.signmeup.com/site/reg/register.aspx?fid=VJ2VCK7

150 meter swim, 6 mile bike, 2 mile run. It was my very first event and the one that got me hooked!

Come on down to San Antonio!
Elizabeth- there were a bunch of moms with their girls doing the race last year.

I made a firm decision to escape work early today. The real question is do I go buy my bike or head to the pool.

Les... that tri sounds great for a family. I am patiently awaiting Danskin and SF nike women's marathon to open registration as I hear they often have same day fills. Who is doing the Danskin? There is not one locally so I am going to travel and would love to catch up with someone in this group. There is such a draw to me for the danskin events as I have heard raves from first timers and novice.

TGIF!!
