Really not salvagable! ya think??? and from a distance!! Crazy stuff those rain/wind storms! Tree finally got cleaned up the day before yesterday! It was a jungle out there! hehe |

Extreme Veteran 322 Reston, VA | Subject: RE: Twisted Blisters II Hey folks! Just dropping by to say hello and to get a good laugh =) We got a few inches of snow here yesterday and the roads are still a little bit icy here in the neighborhood, so I'll likely be hitting the gym this evening to do my run on the treadmill. Thanks for all the encouragement, too - I'm absolutely determined to get past my little shoulder devil who doesn't think I can do my long runs. I can and I will!! That little stuffed bear cartoon is awesome! I'm sort of feeling like that today after I made Apple-Walnut cookies and whole wheat bread yesterday - talk about overeating!! It was just carbo-loading for today's run.....right?? Anyway, happy Friday everyone! GO BLISTERS!! |

Extreme Veteran 597 New Joisy | Subject: RE: Twisted Blisters II Good morning twisted people! just checking in. It was tough getting out of bed this morning. I woke my son at 6 and I thought for sure my head was going to explode! I crawled back in bed while he took his shower knowing I had set the coffee up the night before, and it would be brewed when I got down stairs....Imagine my surprise that when I get downstairs to find coffee all over the floor!, on the counters, in the drawer and in the cupboard! Note to self the little glass thing with the black top and handle is meant to catch the coffee, not be an ornament on the counter. I was so desperate I almost licked the coffee of the floor, but I couldn't figure out how to put milk and sugar in it....maybe the way you drink tequila? It was a bad day yesterday, and a worse evening. But I got a run in and I am feeling better, wanted coffee for my recovery drink...but nah! Now I am packing to head to Killington this weekend. Yee ha. It is a lot of work packing five people plus ski gear. Hope everybody is well. Thanks to Beth and Julie for being our number 1 cheerleaders! If you don't run for yourself do it for Julie and Beth! Beth: Did Tink really say that?

Tammy...I am sorry that your day started the way it did! Your analogy cracked me up! No coffee in the morning make Julie a very grumpy girl! and yes that glass container is key in catching the brew...so it does not end up in your drawers.
