my prediction............

No run for me today......I'm riding to and from work today....that's about it.

Our annual Toga Run at work was planned for tomorrow, but because so many folks are out of town, at conferences etc this week we have rescheduled it for the 24th July.

(Toga Run is basically the a group of folks who all run at work regularly go and get dressed in togas, run down the main street in town at lunchtime, stop at a local eatery for Caesar salads, of course, and then run back.....no real reason, just a good excuse to make fools of ourselves)

So I suppose that just gives me more time to develop a more awesomely embellished toga and hopefully be able to avoid any potentially embarrassing "wardrobe malfunctions" which seem to be a regular occurance in this annual event!!!

Don't worry.....pics will come....promise!

That sounds like so much fun!!!

OK - so its Wednesday now, and I fly out on Saturday. I have not done ANY exercise for 3 whole days I am soooo bad. And to make matters worse I had two glasses of wine last night and some chocolate. BAD me.

I have an hour or so free now at work so I am going down to the gym RIGHT NOW to buy some casual gym passes for Thurs & Friday. I hope I get there, or else I'm going to be donating $1 to charity because of my stupid 150km goal *LOL*

Wine & chocolate??? What's so bad about THAT?

He he when you can't stop at one glass of wine and one row of chocolate!!! *lol*

ALL my workouts are hill workouts!! i'm so jealous of you guys with flat areas to run!!! LOL if i'm not heading up, i'm heading down, i think that on my regular route (of 3 miles) there is MAYBE 1/4 mile of flat, and it's not all in one place!!

Folks. I swam again. And swallowed half the lake. LOL. Talk about WAVES! WOOWEE!!

When Ron gets done with his meditation I'm going to ask if he'll follow me on his bike while I run. Lots of dogs in my neighbourhood and I get skittish around them, especially if I'm running.  So all is not lost. I just got out SO LATE tonight

That's how it was in PA.  I did many hill workouts, which is a big reason on why I hate them so much.

I too hate anything except running on flat ground!!! However since doing drills, hill work and speed work in the past 3 months I've gone from 7'/km to 6'30"/km average on my long runs so its definitely been worth the effort

Got another 4+ miler today.  The time was somewhere around 33 min so it was a good run.  This one was unscheduled but that was a good run either way.

I took the morning off today because I was exhausted! Maybe I'll be able to get in a run this evening but I really think I need to give my body a break today. Plus, tomorrow is my typical day off so I may just take off two days in a row to prepare for a long bike on Saturday and then a week of running at the beach all next week!

I have to run today. I just finished so late last night. Should've ran instead of swam. Pants.   I'm planning on doing a 10K trail run soon, but if I don't finish the consequences aint so bad, right?

Great running! Yes this thread really is very motivating. I swear I would have run 20 mins less today, if it wasn't for the fact that I have my goal in mind and that kept me going! Keep up the good work
