Hey Martin,

I'll try and get some pics up. Just did the ride to conquer cancer, which had some great scenery along the 200km ride.

Hey Bill,

Not a Leafs fan, never have been, but I love hockey. I've always been a Devils fan, go figure eh! Love that the Jets are back though.

cheers!

OK, I've been out for Stage 2. Shouldn't really, had nothing in the legs after Sunday's ride. Went to see a mate & organised a ride for Weds. evening -weather permitting, thunder storms due. He works opposite a 15th Century Tudor manor house so I thought I'd take a pic. I should have got closer as there is a moat that surrounds it. You can just make out the little bridge, on the right, that leads to the entrance.

Let's see if I can get some photos going!!

I will start with some seasonal themes and since it is summer we will go with winter

This is a barn on our county park that my snowbike (snowmobile) trail runs right by.  The park is 1,213 acres and in the winter time I feel like it is my own because there is very limited traffic off the main walking route besides the snowmobiles.  In the summer I do a lot of my trail runs and see a couple of people here and there but most everyone walks the main road and stays in the shelters the county rents for parties.  I am all good with that

Is that the door Bill? Small to stop the bears getting in

View from one on my favorite hill climbs.  Picture taken from an overlook about 3/4 of the way through the climb.

Billy, you would be proud of me, i commuted to work for the first time ever today by bike. 36 miles one way, holy freaking hills batman, you do not realize how hilly a ride is when you drive it, but get on the bike and holy schmoly there was nothing flat.

Okay, 24 hours of silence has ended.  I've been biting my tongue since yesterday morning!  An American rider captures a stage victory on our Independence Day.  Kuddos to Tyler Farrar!

Hey all! I finished Stage 3 (of 12) yesterday. Been pretty busy with family lately so I haven't been able to watch much of the Tour. A friend is coming over tomorrow so that will 'force' me to sit down and watch it.

Bill - I left public accounting and full-time tax work a few years ago. I still torture myself every Jan-April handling some of my own clients from home. I'm just south of you in Bradford, PA.

Happy riding everyone!

Another stage in the books for me tonight!  Sadly, it was on the trainer but at least I had TdF to watch as "scenery".  I think I need to get my bike fixed before I can ride her outside again...
