I agree.  Great race, beautiful day, etc.  The swim did seem longer as was illustrated by my 100m avg. time.  That being said, as stated prior, everyone swims the same course.  So, the finish position is still representative of how you performed relative to the other athletes.  Perhaps the Half next year?
