Subject: RE: training for a 70.3 thanks so much all. i will def check out the book. im gonna run and bike at least 2 times a week with 1 high intensity and 1 endurance, and swim at least times a week for a hour. i plan on training at least 8 hours a week and prob end up around 11 hours or so a week training. swimming is my extreme weakness so will focus on it. im not gonna follow a plan, but will always know what work outs is coming up for several weeks in advance. last year when i trained for the century ride and marathon i didnt follow any plans but knew i was gonna start at this point and increase either intensity or distance or both each week until i got to a point. i will re read this thread often and incorporate all your thoughts into it. again i appreciate it.
btw my goal is just finish. im not fast and never will be, and im ok with that. |
