Subject: RE: Iron distance nervesFrom reading this thread, seems like no matter what the age of the kid, training can present a problem. My daughter's 16 years old, and she still needs "Mommy." Teenagers are good at finding what buttons to push, and if that button happens to be your guilt about being out of the house because of training, that's the one they go for. At least in my experience. writers2, in my opinion, this journey has not been without its sacrifices. But I think my daughter actually whined more last year, and I "just" did sprints and an HIM. I've wondered a couple times, though, if we're making a positive impression on them in the long run, with regard to exercise and healthy lifestyle choices. |
