and this is the problem I have with teams firing coaches quickly...i truly believe its a knee jerk reaction to fandom....how many organizations in any professional sport have been successful by hiring and firing coaches every other season....Oakland anyone? Detroit?....to name 2...

All owners are searching for the Messiah....the next Bill Walsh  2- 14 his first year - 6-10 his second..3rd year - Super bowl champions- but they aren't willing to wait

So, Denver will hire the next great coach or some retread..he will bring in his guys, his schemes, change personnel accordingly and we'll have 2 more crappy years....that's my 0.02c

No doubt. Pittsburgh Steelers: 3 head coaches since 1969. Tomlin has at least another 15 years before even considering the "R" word.
