Casual dress is fine.

V. Sattui is great, but there are many winners.  The coastal towns, like Marshall and Point Reyes Station are really amazing. Marshall has some of the best oysters I've ever had (I used to ride my bike there, eat oysters and then ride back) and Point Reyes Station has the Cowgirl Creamery- amazing cheese!  If you drink beer, Lagunitas is nearby, too.

Also, the owner of V. Sattui also has a second winery: Castello di Amorosa, which is a huge, amazing castle.  The wine is decent, but the place is fantastic.
