Great idea, why not.

I live in LA and it always cracks me up when I drive by a gym and see people jockeying for the parking stalls closest to the front door! I mean, come-on people... why not stretch the legs a bit and warm-up a bit on your way in?

Just two nights ago I went out to dinner with the family... they took the car and I ran the 3 miles to the restaurant. My wife ordered for me and the food was ready when I arrived. It was a Fresh-Mex place, not particularly fancy, so the fact that I was a little sweaty didn't really matter.

You can apply this concept to lot's of travels.

Well, when it is 20 below I'm lookin' for a spot closer to the door!

yosly - 2009-08-13 11:32 AM I ride my bike to the gym because 1) it's only four blocks away and 2) I don't have a car.  Haha.

The weirdest thing though is trying to ride your bike home after spinning class.  The feeling is pretty strange.

You ride to spin class?

No.  I ride my bike to work, then ride my bike directly from work to the gym, where I go to spin class.

Aaahhhh - now that makes sense!
