Yup, that's the finish. I was in the lead for almost the whole race, then neck and neck for the last 3 miles, and I friggin' fall, 2 feet from the finish line. Ugh.

Getting chicked AND old-manned in the same race!

(But I did actually catch up to both of them in the race, they just finished ahead of me).



That's ok!! I would probably still be in the water trying to make it to the 1st transition. LOL

Priceless. Love how BTer can be so self deprecating. Some good lessons learned about being humble, honest and happy. Thanks.
Some day I hope to be strong enough to even join a group ride or have a sprint finish after 1.2 miles in the water, 56 on the bike and a half mary!
