Thanks you!! I'll look into getting that in the next month or so.

Thanks guys for the input. and yep - craigslist rocks! I'm going tomorrow to go look at it and if everything goes perfectly I'll be rearranging my training schedule for more rides because it's in the house!

I assume everything will be fine. whoohoo! I just saved a buttload of money!!

I got mine from ebay - its a Magturbo Ergo. Seems to work great. My next one will have a computer on it.

Depends on how much money you want to spend.  Nothing wrong with the magnetic one if you only want to drop $100, it will do just fine.

Having said that, I recently upgraded my mag trainer with This one and really like it.  The fluid does work better than the mag as you increase speed.  And this one comes with a Spinervals DVD with 3 30 minute workouts, but you'd need to spring for a riser block if you don't have one.

x2- and this one mentioned in the link above comes with a riser. Awesome deal! Much better than anything else you'll find online for the brand.

Ummm...no it does not. I called to confirm if it did come with a riser or DVD's, and was told it no longer did....you only get the trainer itself. It's still a great deal, even without the riser or DVD's.

I must have gotten lucky then, because I ordered mine about 5 weeks ago for my birthday and it did come with the riser ring and the dvd for the advertised low price of $217. Yeah!!!

That's too bad the "extras" don't come with it now. Like you said though, it still is a GREAT deal!!
