Jewelry is not usually covered under homeowners unless you have a rider for it. Especially if you lost it outside the home. I've had a rider on mine from day one (and actually used it a few years ago when I lost one of the stones during an sprint OWS).

I found it in the pants I wore before the swim, and wore all day until I stuck my hand in my pocket around 5pm last night. I'm an idiot

On another note, I wore the spare all day and I've decided I don't have any use for it. It retails for around $285. If anyone wants it, make an offer. It's big, I'll have to take it to a jeweler to figure out the size.
