Wow, weather.com shows temps in the low 60s at race start and only getting to the mid-seventies by 10am. Winds only at 4-5mph. Of course, it's the Trace, so it'll probably feel much worse than that, but that's better than what it normally is.

I'll be around snapping pics before and during the race, so smile for the camera. Then I'll probably hang out at the Heat tent for a while.

Anybody want to be hardcore and go for a South Trace ride when the race is over? Anybody? You know you want to.

Sesh, can't take you up on that ride b/c my wife and I have to get back home. But if you happen to see a little short fellow (5'4") with a blue cervelo P2 and blue zoot tri suit that will be me. We are bringing four of us from Vicksburg over to do our first heatwave. This will be the longest tri each of us has done also so we are looking to survive.

I'm ready!!! I wish it was bed time on friday so it can be here sooner! I'll be the guy on the Fuji killer! with the HED disk and tri spoke. (probably the guy you pass at mile 20)
