Subject: RE: 30 Day Nutrtion ChallengeMary, I've done that too (eaten when I'm frustrated with the scale ), and have also sometimes seen a big loss after I eat a little more, so I'm trying to incorporate a high-calorie day once a week in case there's a biological reason for that (maybe it's a signal to your body that it's OK, there's still food available, we're not going into a famine ). The scale can be really frustrating, because it doesn't always reward our efforts right away. In fact, I've heard that your body will sometimes hold onto extra water for a few days as you're dropping pounds, before it will let that water weight go, too. I'm glad it finally showed you the 3 pound loss you earned! Well, yesterday made it 5 in a row for me, which is quite an accomplishment for me! I'm going to keep the streak going! Tomorrow night my Mom has offered to take us out to dinner. I'm actually nervous about it - I'm worried that if I get out of my current habits, which are working, will it throw me off course? But I'm telling myself no, you can do this! I'll plan today where I want to go and what I want to eat, and tomorrow is my high-calorie day, which also gives me some leeway.
