I've lost the bubble....why are we supposed to hate Russia again? Is it because they don't share our 'values'? Is it because the 'meddled' in our election? Maybe because they took over Crimea?

Flashback - Putin called Obama:

Putin: Knock knock
Obama: Who's there?
Putin: Crimea
Obama: Crimea who?
Putin: Cry-me-a river! hahahaha

BTW, we did the same thing to Mexico when we took over what they claimed was their territory...not to mention the American Indians.

I suppose it became hard for me to hate Russia after having visited Russia on tourism. The Russia people are no different than us. People are just people. The Russian people don't have horns coming out of their heads or bifurcated tails and a pitchfork. The are just people who happened to be born in Russia. Their leaders make decisions that maybe the agree with and maybe don't agree with just like us with our leaders. The Russian people have pride in their country just like Americans have pride in their country.

Maybe some Russian hate us....we do tend to invade sovereign countries and overthrow their governments....e.g. Iraq, Libya.

Ramble over....

Exactly.......do people even look at a map or have any idea about geography?  Look how involved we are in the Middle East.....now let Russia be that involved in Latin America......heads would explode.   Radical Muslims are the enemy of our country and Russia....we could use their help, as can Israel.

None of this matters......it'll blow over as soon as the Left finds a new reason to be outraged about our President.  Meanwhile,  he's looking at tax cut 2.0.  Oh......the horror!!!

Even with Crimea they legally voted to join the Russian federation and it was upheld by their supreme court and recognized by the EU.
I know there were some strong arm politics and such, but the military was brought in to protect those wanting to join from those that didn't the way I understand it.
Sure, we can belly ache about what tactics were used and whatnot, but it's nowhere near as bad as what we did to Iraq and Afghanistan.  We manufactured fake intelligence to justify invading them them, killed their leaders, and put in our own puppet governments while giving preferred oil contracts to companies that donated lots of money to our politicians.  How's that for a morale high ground. /eyeroll

Don't forget he overturned Roe v. Wade and forcing women to use coat hangers. Of course any man who puts catsup on his pasta is not to be trusted!

He is also likely to get the blame for the Thai kids being stuck in a cave. After all, he pulled us out of the Paris Climate accord an cause the seas to rise.....trapping the kid.

"First, the very people who have been loudest in attacking President Trump about his performance at the Helsinki summit are the people who failed to protect America from Russian meddling in 2016. The very intensity and nastiness of former CIA Director Brennan and former Director of National Intelligence Clapper is an attempt to distract attention from their failure to protect America. It was their duty in 2016 – not candidate Trump’s." - Newt

I have also read that the Russians hacked the RNC too (as cited in the indictments) but this doesn't really fit the narrative so it is getting very little press coverage. The narrative is the Russian hacked the DNC emails and thus gave the election to Trump.

This is all politics from the left.....blah,blah,blah.  They have whined so loud for the last 18 months most people are no longer listening.  Own it, it may be the last gasp from a dying party.

You forgot a part:
The narrative is the Russian hacked the DNC emails which revealed the truth about how Hillary and the DNC rigged the primaries which thus gave the election to Trump.
