u guys are sooo tempting me - and I am so weak.

Let's do one tomorrow (SATURDAY)!!!  How's 7:00 AM start ?   Sunday is blocked fro me as I have to pickup my daughter at the Orlando airport around noon.

I need to know ASAP so I can better mark the course - we don't want any excuses this time, not even from me.

I have a sprint next weekend but also mu boss here all week, so this will be fantastic training as I know I wont have much training time.

Crap. No can do tomorrow. I have a 530am group run, then I'm riding my bike immediately afterwards. In fact, I was going to follow that with a swim at Bobby Hicks. A reverse triathlon. 4mile run, 20 mile bike, 1,000 yd swim. Almost an oly! But different. Very, very different.

I want in on the next one, so please keep me in mind/msg me/pm me/whatever. Thanks!

hey, this should be almost the same dist's ;Plus, you'll change the routine.

S 750 (15 laps) / B 14 mi (1 loop w/ very lil' traffic) / R 3.1 (out&back - marked turnaround)
Very safe Transition area.  Ea person carries own hydration/nutrition.

Seriously, we have a lot of fun.  I enjoy much more than solo training.
I'll show up there (not sure about the others yet) in case you change your mind and decide to show up.

Where is 'there'? And what pool do you swim in? Fees?

I really need to do this group run at 530am but that will still give me time to get to your location. I think. I also really need to go 20miles on my bike. Hmmmm ..

Very tempting ...

Argh! Curse you TRKHILOwhatever! I'm going to pickup some bananas for our little race tomorrow. Please provide deets (where am I going?)

cool, anytime. Looking forward to training & racing u again.

Another day - another mock triathlon.  My times:

S - 9:28.93
T1 - 0:48,7 sec
B - 47:23
T2 - 1:10.5
R - 26:16
---------------
Total: 1:25:07

Great race, including a new racer (Renee).  As always we had a gr8 time.  Also, looks like I finally learned to record my data, just need to learn to read it while still active,

Swim pace was 3.7 mph /  43 sec/lap
Based on my speed graphs I would expect to complete this distance in 1:19:07 (6 min faster). However, I am always happy to help a fellow triathlete. And we now have a new triathlete training w us.
My run was awesome, Avg pace 8:29    (8:25/8:32/8:34)

I was thinking ... I'd be much more interested in group rides out on those country roads than to do another mock tri. My greatest need is to improve my cycling. Maybe 2 loops? I'm not ready for 3 loops (~45miles) but hope to be ready by the end of September. I could always drop out after 2 loops if you guys went longer.

Renee, ther is also a group ride on SAT&SUN 7:30AM. They leave from the 7-11 at the Bell Shoals/FH Blvd intersection.
Here's the link http://ajsbikesandboards.com/page.cfm?pageID=37  They have a couple of groups covering all levels, we can also do a double loop for 29 but there are many other variations I do which extend this to significant IM training distances.  So far, I've done the variations 'solo' during my week ride.

Have you also checked out Ride N Roll's site?  They're in Largo (Pinellas) and they have several group rides as well - hills provided by the area bridges.  www.ridenrollcyclery.com

Boom - what time did you record?

I don't know who's off - I am going by my Garmin and I'm pretty sure I hit it at the right time (start and finish), plus I am confirming with the GPS when I started running towards T1.

Renee, what was your swim time?  Boom must have done the 750 yds in about 1:20-1:30 less than either of us.
Thanks !!

That Sunday ride looks perfect for what I'm looking for. Gracias, amigo! I reallyreallyreally love Withlacoochee but don't want to get caught 25miles from my car, by myself, with any kind of mechanical issue.

My swim was somewhere around 11mins. I don't remember if I hit the button when I stopped or when I got to my bike. I don't think I swam 750 in < 10mins, tho. Sorry, not much help there.

Olman, i swam my first nonstop 3000 meter swim yesterday in 56 minutes!!!!!  I think we can bump it up to an olympic distance now.   Not bad for someone who can't swim huh.  Remember i was the one who requested the swim be shorter than 750!  i was moving at a nice comfortable pace and am pretty sure if i had more time to workout during lunch, i couldda done 4000 without any issues.  As long as i can maintain my bilateral breathing, i can keep going.  God bless Total Immersion!
