I hope all 22 hours aren't on the trainer, but I'm prepared if Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. Congrats on the longest trainer ride ever... thats quite some achievement... I dont think Ive managed more than 1.5 hours yet... I either get sore from sitting on the bike or the movie Im watching finishes |

Veteran 139 Portland | Subject: RE: Team Chocolate Peep Disease Hi Team-Hates-Peeps :-) I love marshmallows, and chocolate, but peeps are probably one of the grossest candies ever, so I think I found the right team. I am in usually-sunny, but not today, southern california, so will be almost all outdoor riding this month I hope. I just got a new bike and my first clipless pedals and will have my first ride (and hopefully not fall :-) ) tomorrow. I am new to tri- did one sprint last summer. Biking and running go pretty smoothly for me, swimming on the other hand.... I'm in for 11 hours this month. |

Extreme Veteran 506 Lake Placid, NY | Subject: RE: Team Chocolate Peep Disease Welcome! I am shopping for shoes and clipless this week, so we are in the same boat. Of course, since I live in the Hinterlands (aka Lake Placid, NY where we have 6 more weeks of snow....) I am a long way from being outside with them-- until I go to sunny Florida for 2 weeks at the end of this month. If I thought someone would set up the spread sheet, I MIGHT volunteer to be captain....though there is probably someone more worthy---- but I am just enough to be dangerous doing something like setting up a spread sheet. |

How about I get the spreadsheet set up and you can take a look at it - if we use google everyone updates there own info so you just have to motivate and remind people to update their figures... Makes it a much easier job |

If you can set up the spread sheet, I can take it from there...... |

Hm, did you participate in any of the challenges that I organized? (I can't remember. So many people.... LOL) I set everything up on Google, and it worked really well. Most people were able to update their own information, and the Team Captain just verified the information each week. Cat is going to set up the spreadsheet, and send it to me. I'll upload it to Google, and get all the "setttings" done. Then I'll let the team know the link and sign in information. - Dee |

Extreme Veteran 506 Lake Placid, NY | Subject: RE: Team Chocolate Peep Disease Yes- I did the Swimming Rocks last month. It was very inspiring and really motivated me to swim! So if you can get the spread sheet going, I think I can take it from there. I think, I say. Never mind that statement-- I WILL. So long as no one else wants to be captain. However, I NEED A CO-CAPTAIN!!! Who are you! Step up to the plate of Peeps and show yourself! PS-- Today is not a bike day for me, but I rode 40 on my trainer just to start things off right. This is a rest week for me (I will actually have 2 rest weeks during March, just to adjust myself for 2 fat weeks of training and a tiny tri during the first 2 weeks of April while I am on vaca.) So though it may look as though I am starting off slow-- I WILL BRING IT, baby. I will BRING IT. The trainer lives here in the house with me......unlike the pool that is 20 minutes away and closed 50 percent of the time! So this challenge? Let's consider it DONE. |

I kept thinking you were in the challenge, but I wasn't thinking of which RUNNING team you were on. Guess it's because you were SWIMMING! LOL (There were just so many more runners.) I haven't seen Cat's spreadsheet yet, but the ones she's used in the past were very straightforward and easy to use. When I set it up on Google, you'll use the same login and password as for Feb. (You'll just have a different link to get there.) - Dee Edited by D001 2008-03-02 12:57 AM |

Plus, it allows everyone on the team to access it whenever they want. That means they can see how their teammates are doing. (And send them inspires, if they need some motivation.) |

If yuo already have a google/gmail login so the spreadsheet opens without you having to log in then yuo need to log out of your login and log in as the Btchallenge user... Or I could be wrong....
