Don't worry, I'm just warming up here, I'll gitcher banter. Might be riding an easy lap of Sunday's tri (a re-do of the tri where I popped my cherry! ) tomorrow. Or not. In any case--Sunday and IT'S ON!

So I made us a glittery pink linked team roster (so if you click on the name, it will take you to the team member's blog so you can leave an inspire!) If you don't like it--change it! I'll also let you know how to add team members if some more arrive.

I've been on BT for hmmmmm, a little over a year now - an active participant in challenges since September - I *heart* challenges!

I am a swimmer at heart, have learned to enjoy biking and am working on embracing running.  I am just starting my 3rd tri season -

I am happy to have my Tinkerbell wings lately cuz they are helping me to commute between Omaha and Philly (Bristol to be exact) - on a weekly basis.  (yes you heard that right Omaha to Philly! )

I just started a new job a month ago and will be commuting between the two cities throughout the summer - why you ask??

I have 3 kids, a freshman in college, a senior in HS and a 7th grader (you're right I don't look old enough to have kids that age - hahaha)  Anyway, I will be commuting until my daughter graduates and gets settled into college -

unless of course my house sells incredibly fast then it may be a little sooner.

The one unfortunate consequence is that the situation has really put a damper on my post padding BT time - spending quality time bantering with my teammates -

Oh - my goal is 5 hrs

tiny I know, but - well my situation is a bit dicey,  I'm hoping things settle into a routine and I will be able to up the goal, but for now, that's a pretty good target for me

I had been planning on changing my avatar for the month, but..............given the pink peep theme - perhaps I should keep it

Hello There Pink Peeps!!!

I'm Heather (aka geauxtri)... I am a newbie, though I've been here since October and been doing challenges since Nov (yep, I was fortunate enough to be part of the nibbs, still in existence)

I'll be doing my first tri this June, just a sprint, though.  Training shouldn't be hard for me b/c I work in a comunity rec center, however with two little boys at home, and my hubby training for his first mary, life tends to grab me hard some days.

Haven't really been doing much biking, don't even own road tires yet (I used to be a mtn biker and plan on using that bike at first with some slicks).  So this month should be a great challenge for me!!!

I do look forward to spending a lot of time on stationary bikes so I can get some reading done.

So let's get reading pedaling!!

Sooooo... who rode today??? 

Yes, yes I did ride my pretty bike with plenty of pink on it.  Short ride for me, I put in just under 21 miles but I also taught an indoor cycling class (though I'm not counting that particular class towards the goal). 

Do we have a captain yet? 

Hi everyone on the Pink Peeps team. I made a special request to be on the Pink Peeps team, so am very excited to be here. (i'm going to have to spend some time looking for the appropriate pink avatar for the month).

I'm Sandi and I've been active on BT since Dec. I did the Jan Bike challenge and the Feb swim challenge, so it's back to biking in March.

I've been doing tri's for 2 years now. 2008 will be my third. My goal for this year is to qualify for USAT Age Group Nationals (to be held Sept 20 in my metro area). My qualifying race is June 7 in Moses Lake, WA. So my whole life is currently revolving around 6/7/08 (not quite as sexy as 7/7/07, but close ).

I work Fri-Mon, so am not on the forums much on the weekends, and my long rides tend to be on Tues, Wed, or Thurs since those are my days off.  I will be traveling for a week this month, so my goal is a very modest 45 miles.  

When I'm not working or training, I'm taking care of dogs or puppies. I'm a foster home for shelter dogs waiting to be adopted. In addition to my own dogs (6 of them total), I have 4 foster puppies up for adoption. Oh yeah, and I have a husband around here somewhere too.

YAY Sandi!  It's the whip, right?  You woulda missed the whip if you weren't on the pink team?? 

It sounds like you nominated yourself.  I second the nomination!!  Yay Mila!!!  No pink on my bike, but I did spend an hour and a half on it today. 

Hiya Peeps (hehe that cracks me up) - please find attached your team spreadsheet for tracking...

The lovely Dee (D001) has volunteered to upload all team spreadsheets to google for tracking, as a team its up to you whether you would like to use it!

I don't mind being captain... but, uhhh, if anyone else is dying to do it, by all means, please step up!!!!!

I'm inclined to go with the Dee's Google spreadsheet if everyone else is on board with that.

And MAJOR pink peep props to Cat for organizing the challenge... huge effort required to put the teams together, sort out goals and create the spreadsheets.
