Hi Team - just a quick reminder that Monday July 14th is the LAST day of week one of the challenge.

It would be great if at this time you could make sure your google spreadsheet is up to date with your achieved and GOAL stages and distance/time for the week. (there are currently a few blank spaces on some of the teams)

I will get an interim result up in the forum on Wednesday assuming that whatever is in your team spreadsheet is the results for your team.

I have updated the spreadsheets so they are all calculating goals consistently across the board and as always if you have any questions let me know.

Your team spreadsheet is here:

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pfYL7DR_dx-BNPVnMVWzyKA&hl=en

To Login to Google Docs:

Username: btchallenge

Password: challengeforum

Hope everyone has had a great first week! Dont forget to keep supporting and inspiring your team mates - make sure you all keep i touch! 2 weeks left! (and feel free to stir up the other teams a bit too!

I'm assuming races count as stages too. If so Stage 3 is in the books as part of a sprint today - 15 miles.

Stage 4 is complete at 68.88 miles. Was out riding before the sun came up. Glad for that because it looks to be another scorcher here today.

barqhead - 2008-07-13 7:58 AMCongrats on your race! How did you do?

Well, I finished and had fun - my calves are sore today.  The course was a 600y swim, 14.8 mile bike and 4 mile run.  My time was 1:34:xx, if I remember the clock correctly.  They didn't have chip timing and results aren't online yet.  Going from my T1 exit to T2 exit times, I think the ride took me about 46:30 for a 19.1 mph avg. which is nearly 2 mph faster than my training rides.

Good job on the race! Sounds like it went well. Stage 3 for me was also a race. Great course and well organized event. I'll be out tomorrow morning for stage 4, hopefully 22 miles before work.

Keep it up Tem Rabobank!

Stage 5 is a mountain stage. 50 miles in the mountains of Western North Carolina with my coach. We also did some OWS before that, so I'm pooped.

Ok team, looks like we have some work to do - we're DFL.  I'll get my butt on the bike this weekend, let's all try to do the same.

Roger that! I've got my longest ride ever (46 miles) planned for Sunday. Looks like it may be humid but not too hot if I get out early.

I got my butt on the drainer today. I hate being DFL more than I hate the drainer (and that's saying alot) 20 more miles for stage 6 for me. I've surpassed my mileage for the challenge but am still plugging away at stages. I have a nice 50 miler scheduled for Sunday to round out my week.

Thank you!

Stage 5 done today.  I may have to commute to work a couple times to reach my stage goal, but the miles goal should be fine.

Stage 5 done for me today. 205 minutes. Got 3 stages and 95 minutes to go. Very doable. We need to find out what is going on with our missing teammates. Any clue?

Okay, I went to Jerry_101, xmann1102 & Yoganerd and got some numbers off of their logs and put them into our chart. We are still behind, but hopefully it won't be as bad this time around since we have numbers for everyone as opposed to 3 missing members on the first weeks totals.
