Faked! (Page 2)

You've gotta understand the mentality of "face" (in a sense of gaining respect from others) and putting up a good show for the sake of "face".

I am not at all surprised by the fake show.  In fact, I have been telling my mom since a year ago that there would be stupid acts from the Chinese and was waiting to see how they would react when they got busted (e.g. diff people saying diff things, blaming others, removing evidence etc).  But  by faking kids age so that they can get golds so as to "have face".... I really don't know what to say.  I am once again dissapointed with my country.  Last night when talking on the phone with my parents I was practically screaming "look what they've done to that singer girl!!!  She is forever going to be reminded that she NOT GOOD LOOKING!!!"
