TriDDS - 2008-09-19 12:56 PM i have heard both sides, but heard more that a Road set up is easier for the hills. Most important as stated - Rde - Log - Repeat With my recommendation, I am going to ride my tri bike, I rode the roadie in 2007 and was comfortable, in 09 - I'll try something different

There's always the argument of riding the roadie and then, due to the geometry and fit, you supposedly use more of your legs and waste the energy for the run.

jhouse4 - 2008-09-19 10:33 AM Go up and ride the course with both bikes. You are close enough that you can go up and back in a day.

I'd like to see him try and ride both bikes at once.

chirunner134 - 2008-09-18 5:05 PM thanks everybody. I am going to use the Roadie for now. I think it will be more confortable and easier to get in my t.i.t.s in that I need because I know I need alot. I am trying to remember that I should do atleast 50% of my work outs on the bike.

Good call.  Just remember to log 100% of your workouts.

We're pushy, because we want to see you succeed.  IMWI is something achievable, but it takes a concerted effort, it's not something you can fake or cram for starting next July.  The work starts now.

Good advice, Core.

Or maybe do the two loops one loop on a road bike and the other on a tri bike.

Dump -- you mean I can't taper taper 'til July, then train occasionally for a couple months? Man, that completely screws up my plan.. alright, maybe I'll try things your way..
