hee hee. we'll see how this goes. I've been tracking my food via weight watchers online and its helping. Though trying to only eat 19 points a day is killing me.

Start: 133

Goal: 125

The log is great for tracking the actual numbers but I personally like having a thread where people can post about their day-to-day progress.

Speaking of progress... I missed my planned bike ride yesterday but managed to get in a short run last night before it got too dark. I really need to get a headlamp. Anyone have one that they especially like/dislike?

Today, my department is having a "Tean Building Off-Site" a.k.a. lunch and frisbee golf. So I will have to try to find something that isn't too bad for me at the restaurant. But at least then we'll be outside walking around and I should be done by 3:00 so I can fit in yesterday's bike ride and today's swim.

Agreed - I like the whole checking in part too.

Speaking of progress, I'm making none Stupid sore throat germs that have been going around finally caught me and I've skipped all my workouts this week to sleep.

I'm just hoping the fact that I can't eat anything without pain is going to offset my decreased calorie expenditure. Although rediscovering the beauty of Udon is probably going to circumvent that....

okay i'm a couple days late. i was 128 at the dr. last week and would like to be back at prepregnancy weight of 120. i just returned to work (part-time) yesterday so i have that added challenge of trying to juggle work and working out, but i think if i can stop my middle of the night snack when my son gets up for his i might be ok. i am slowly adding in some running but the giant milk-boobs make it a little hard.

I can join the 143 club. I would be amazed if I could get down to 133... but I will be happy with 135.

Strategy: no late night snacking, clean vegan eating, cut down on beer (can't eliminate of course), if I'm on travel for work GET UP EARLY to train!

Hmmm... wasn't sure if I should start a new "Roll Call" today or wait til Wednesday. But I weighed in and posted it in the spreadsheet http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=pUCi9I0Fut3jH64L0OxMfTQ&hl=e...

I'm happy to say that I'm down .9 lbs! I did manage to bring my lunch, skip starbucks and get in most of my workouts. And I ran in the first race of the Pikes Peak Road Runner's Fall Series. They change the course every year and this year instead of just 1/4 mile running up the creek, we went 3/4 mile and the creek was pretty full! And there's really nothing like running upstream through knee deep water while watching a dead animal float pass... Then finishing with tons of sand/gravel in your shoes for the last 1/4 back on dry land. Good times. I'm really happy because I ended up 25/36 in my AG, and 143/210 Female Overall, which means I'm getting closer to being MOP!

I really like the Petzl TacTikka 4-LED Headlamp. Superlight, the easy angle adjustment puts the beam however far in front of you you'd like it, and this Tac version has a red lens so others you might be with or pass aren't blinded by your light and keep their night vision intact.

I rode 5:30 on Saturday, but with IMAZ still on the Schedule I'm making it a point to replace calories and hydrate so I doubt I'm going to loss a full 10 by T-Giving. Still, the weigh-ins are another tool. I'll keep weighing once a week on Wednesday thanks.
