vrljc - 2008-10-24 3:47 PM Ok, now what about the software required to import any route created from sites like mapmyride.com. I take it I will need to buy the "GPS Course Creator"? "GPS Course Creator allows you to build custom courses using a Garmin Edge 305 or GPX files created using any GPS." http://www.computrainer.com/rm_inc/sales/Optional_software.html Also, what do you Computrainer folks think about IRCV's? http://www.computrainer.com/rm_inc/sales/realcoursevideo_order.html...

Actually I think the course creator comes with the computrainer alot now.  I know mine did.

An alternative to the Computrainer is the imagick (see www.tacx.com).   I've recently purchased one and have been very pleased.   It also has a series of real life video that you can purchase seperately.  I've got one for Majorca and another for Colorado and the quality is excellent.

I tried to find the cost on the site, didnt have much luck... what was the cost?

I bought mine in the U.K, cost was around £350.
