Sorry Julie, didn't mean to imply you, it was actually self referential  I'm teaching myself to look toward pace times, I think its hard to get the courses same year over year at one location, much less trying to compare two different sprint events or whatever. And BTW congratulations on a terrific race! |

Thanks, I pretty much look like a slug next to you guys, but I really enjoy it. And considering until the last 4 years or so I was never in anyway athletic, in fact I was pretty much sedentary, I feel pretty good about some of the things I've accomplished in the last couple of years. |

I was out there volunteering (thank you, Racing Underground for the $50 race credit!!!!), and once the sun warmed things up a bit, it was perfect. I kind of wished I had raced it rather than volunteered, but between Harvest Moon last weekend and my mental block about swimming in CC (it grosses me out  ), volunteering was a better option for me.I might have body-marked some of you, and I definitely directed you on the bike course!  My husband and I were doing the same -- bummer we didn't meet!! Looking forward to using my $50 on Chilly Cheeks eta: I was so hoarse by the end from all the cheering -- next time I'll remember my cowbells!! Edited by skarl 2009-09-20 9:32 PM |
