HA! I wish I had seen this thread sooner. SR - I think you might have been my last boyfriend . He over-analyzed everything to the point that he almost drove himself crazy. One week I was the best thing that ever happened to him, the next, I didn't hear from him. I gave him the opportunity to explain to me what was going on, but he couldn't do it - too confusing for him. Oh, and for those who read the thread on intelligent women/active women and intimidation, this is one guy who clearly admitted that he wasn't used to dating independent, hassle-free women. He told me that I would take a long time to get used to. He left last Tuesday for a vacation (which he had invited me to go on) and he didn't say goodbye and I haven't heard from him since. I know he didn't mean to hurt me, but he did. I have no doubt that he is still churning things over and that he will be in touch when he gets back. But, I don't think I can go through that again. Add my vote to the big "S" and preferably an age in big numbers right beside it. It is kind of tough for us mid 30s chicks to find single guys in the same age group.

You know, sometimes it is just nice to know there are others out there who think singleness sucks as much as I do. I really really miss the everyday stuff of relationships. The waking up and going for coffee. The not sleeping alone. The going for a saturday morning long run together, or just bragging about our workouts to each other over dinner. Sigh........

Good luck Sranney and all the other singles out there. I am going home now to sew a giant S to all my tshirts!
