Got in a 7.5k trail run this afternoon.  I felt good when I started but I had a hard run yesterday and completely ran out of gas after about 3k.  I was just hanging on after that.

ransick - 2010-05-02 2:59 PM Chores done.  Fueled up with Taco Bell.  Time to ride....

How did the Taco Bell treat you????

Pretty well.  I had an hour to digest it before I left so no problems.  Had some Nuun and Gu chomps on the ride.

Small crew so far - hopefully some more join in this week!

Tim - how did the 24 hour race go?

I'm here!

First 24hour race in the bag. Lessons definately learned. 11 laps, 135 miles, 18700 ft of climbing. I'm working on the race report.

Race didn't go as I planned, but that's life. I did get reassurance from some top riders that I had a pretty good race for my first one. Oh well, if nothing else, it gives me a big boost in bike numbers to kick some feminine behind!

Good morning, gentlemen!
I haven't put my goals in, but will try to do that tonight.  Started off the month with a 25 mile ride on Saturday.  Yesterday was a rest day for me.  Double workout at the Y planned for lunchtime today.  Looking forward to a great month of training.

Maybe some quick intros are in order...

Rest day today.  A little beat up from the volume last week but hopefully I'll be good to go for my hill/speed workout tomorrow.

The weekend went well.  I got in two runs, a swim and a bike.   Today I have a run and some strength training planned for tonight when I get home from the hospital.

Have a great day everyone.

I got my 40 min swim in at the Y at lunchtime, but missed my morning run today.  Will make that up on Wed.
