I have a bottle of that stuff, but never tried it.  My friend said it's like cough syrup.  I carried a flask of it on my Fuel Belt at IM CDA and never took a sip.  it just sounded nasty (even though I was cracked and walking).  I should have tried it out in training - maybe I would like it?

I use the Carbo-Pro powder and love it.  I put a couple of scoops in my bottles (with Powerade Zero).  Tastes pretty good.

i didn't think it was gonna taste too good. i was thinking it was gonna be kinda thick to fill it with all those calories. i still wanna try it though.

IM races now only use Power Bar stuff so I recommend you start tasting/testing  all the Power Bar stuff in training so maybe you’ll be able to use their gels and or drinks.  Regardless of what any of us say tastes good, bad or how it helped us you got to test it out in training .  I watched a guy give up his lunch on the run at Bolder 70.3.  As he was bending over I heard him say “Dam, I knew I should have tested this stuff out before today”  I felt bad for him but at the same time he made it quite comical because he was so mad at himself then began to ralffing again.
