I was waiting for somebody to take me to task on that. I have to admit though, I went out drinking with an Irish friend awhile ago - maybe you know him, his name is Brendan from Belfast - anyhoo, we left the pub and we were talking about drinking and I said, "you know you have a problem when you can't remember how you got home", he answered, "I don't know, I can't remember how I got home last Saturday".

When I hear Mankato I think of LIttle House on the Prairie. It was the "big city."  When there was trouble brewing, Half Pint would beg Pa to take her with him, "all the way to Mankato" (TV show, anyway, don;t remember how often Half Pint whined in the books)
