Wk2 Monday AM results attached:

Hey ya'll,
As a team we're at 26% for 30% of the month, please look over the results. We had one illness, hope your feeling better Bob! Some are focusing in on 1 or 2 sports at the moment due to upcoming races, etc., me included. There's 3 weeks left, please be mindful that it is very difficult to "catch-up" at the end! Remember going over 100% for a particular sport goal does not get any extra 'points' for the others!

There's been a lot of good work to date for all! We can do this, one day at a time

Don

If my numbers for this upcoming week seem low, no need to worry. I'll make sure I get it the week afterwards (week 5)

Exam week + work = crunch on training time.

Hey y'all!
10 days to go, I have a lot of swimming to do next week but that was the plan.

If your racing this or next weekend, have fun and enjoy the taper! I look forward to reading some race reports.

If not let's remember why we're doing this in the first place, enjoy it, and just keep plugging along

The challenge has been great motivation to stay on plan this month, but I'm still a little behind on swim.  I'll get it this week - it's recovery week leading up to my first tri of the season on Saturday.

Do others have as much problem with swim time as I do?  I notice that's where everyone seems to be lagging.  On the other hand, it looks like we all love to get on the bike.

I've been waiting for the water to warm up to start swimming open water, I have come to really hate swimming at the pool! The water has finally gotten bearable with a wetsuit so my yardage should go up.

since am I doing Y swmming, the biggest thing was me finding a different location when the pool was more available..I now go near the office and always get a lane...I am doing a lot of swimming this week but it may be my one place I don't hit...should finish the bike and will definitely go over in running with the marathon on saturday...

good job everyone!

For me its been a great motivator to focus on my June 4th A-race, even with working my butt off lately.  Living 6 miles from work has great benefits for training, saving a lot of gas!

I've been able to pick up my lack of winter swimming (> Dec swim chal) since the open water here in FL was perfect for a wetsuit in March and now perfect for no wetsuit.  I was sick of the pool and needed something not so "restrictive".

The dolphins have been active in the Indian River Lagoon and the water is clear due to the lack of rain.  I'm going out Friday morning for a 2700 yard swim!

I applaude all of you for just getting out and working at it.  I'm looking forward to this years race season.  I'm doing this again in May, anyone else???

I'm in again for May.  The Spring training plan is complete at the end of the month, and I'm moving on to the Spring to Olympic bridge plan.  The jump in weekly training time is huge so I need the motivation and accountability.  I will be out of town for a whole week in May with little opportunity to train but that just makes it more important for me to be in a challenge so that I don't slack off when I get back.

I'm in for May as well.  I will need to think about the numbers for a bit so I don't get myself into trouble.

I will have swim goal met today.

This has been a hard month to squeeze these workouts in.  I have two business trips and one more to go.  But, I had the motivation to work out because of Team Southeast.   Thanks All.

I am in for May as well.

Yesterday evening I went down with a stomach bug and felt like crap most of today.  My wife was down for 24 hrs so this should be over with tomorrow and I can get back into it.

My May is just like oneword's, time to switch gears over to race pace & brick work.  I'm taking my plan and applying a 70%-110% goal for each of the weeks. That way the taper is worked in like it is suppose to.  I've never done a two week taper before, kind of just stop doing anything for 4-5 days beforehand!

I'm almost done.  Bike and Run are done.  2 swims over the next two days and I'm done there.  This was an interesting month in that travel, weather, family - really nothing - caused me to miss training time.  We all run into the family or work commitments, but not this month.  Bet that doesn't happen again for a while.

I have finished the bike, will have the run finished this weekend. The swim will be tough to finish, I have a HIM next weekend and will probably not get in that many yards. On the bright side the water temp is getting up there, had a nice swim in the channel this AM.
Good luck to all on your goals, looks like we are a contender!
